Primarily practising in the privacy and cybersecurity fields, Geneviève works in the Montréal cybersecurity incident response team and advises clients on cyber insurance coverage.
Geneviève joined Clyde as an associate in 2023, after having gained experienced as an articling student practising in business law at a full-service national law firm. In addition, she has experience working in the aerospace and pharmaceutical industries.
She obtained her Bachelor of Civil Law and her Juris Doctor at McGill University. During her academic journey, Geneviève was highly involved in the student community. In fact, she was a member of the Law Student Association, a student ambassador for the Admissions Office and an associate editor of the McGill Journal of Sustainable Development Law. Moreover, she was acted as a case worker at the McGill Legal Information Clinic.
Described as determined, organized and empathetic, she draws on her skills to build strong interpersonal relationships with co-workers and clients. Geneviève is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Young Bar of Montréal.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, both in the city and on trails. Geneviève completed her first marathon in October of 2023.
