Luca is a Senior Disputes Executive (Associate) based in Clyde & Co’s Hamburg office. She is a member of the firm’s Global Arbitration Group and the Marine department and focusses on domestic and international arbitration proceedings as well as maritime transactions.
She has particular experience in complex investment and commercial arbitration proceedings under the ICSID, ICC and DIS rules, covering energy, construction (especially offshore wind) and corporate disputes (joint venture, post-M&A).
In her maritime practice, Luca advises clients on all aspects of the S&P process including the flag state and issues with the local registries. Luca has got in-depth experience from a variety of transactions and is a true S&P specialist.
Luca holds a Bachelor’s degree (LL.B.) in Comparative and European Law from the Hanse Law School and a Master’s degree (LL.M.) in International Arbitration from the University of Miami. She recently joined Clyde & Co after working in another international law firm for over five years.
She is a member of various arbitration associations, such as DIS40 (German Initiative of Young Arbitration Practitioners) and Young ICCA.
In 2023, Luca was recognized a “Top Lawyer” for arbitration by leading German business weekly WirtschaftsWoche. Furthermore, she is listed as “One to Watch” for arbitration and mediation by Best Lawyers (2024).
