Afolabi joined Clyde & Co on qualification in 2018 and is a Senior Associate (Solicitor-Advocate) in the Aviation Liability department in our London office.
Afolabi has Higher Rights of Audience (Civil) and his practice covers a wide range of complex cross-border disputes on behalf of a variety of industry participants across the world. Afolabi qualified into Clyde & Co’s IFPD Group and has extensive experience of commercial disputes; as well as assisting insurers on policy coverage disputes, liability defences, and subrogated recoveries across different forums. He also advises clients on the terms of commercial agreements and general risk mitigation.
Afolabi regularly presents at workshops for clients in the insurance market.

- Advising insurers on policy coverage following damage to a wind turbine.
- Advising a major international private wealth bank in relation to defaults under various loan agreements and guarantees, and consequential enforcement in foreign jurisdiction.
