Natalia Sorz is a Senior Associate at the Montréal office who mainly practices in construction law and insurance coverage in the cyber sector. Her litigation work is centred on complex and large-scale construction projects, namely in the fields of mining and defence of engineers in professional indemnity matters. In addition, Natalia is skilled in the management of e-discovery processes, bringing her technical expertise to complex litigation files.

She was called to the Québec Bar in 2012, after obtaining her licentiate in civil law and her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa. Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Natalia was a litigation associate at a Québec boutique firm and acted as in-house counsel for a software company. In fact, this role allowed her to gain some invaluable insight into corporate legal issues, which helped strengthen her ability to provide pragmatic and business-focused advice to her clients.

Fluent in both English and in French, Natalia works with insurers and insureds alike, leveraging her technical acumen, her meticulous spirit and her ability to clearly convey difficult concepts to offer curated legal services. She takes a holistic approach in her practice while remaining flexible and proactive, and continually adjusts her strategies to ensure that her clients benefit from the most cost-effective and curated legal solutions.
