Chris is an Associate in the Vancouver office, with experience in insurance defence, professional liability, personal injury and construction litigation.
He joined our Vancouver office as an associate in September 2021 after articling at a Vancouver insurance defence litigation firm. He is a litigation lawyer with a focus on construction, professional liability and insurance defence. Chris provides legal counsel to contractors, architects, engineers and business owners on a wide range of issues.
He obtained a Bachelor of International Economics from the University of British Columbia. Following his undergraduate degree, he attended law school at the Allard School of Law.
While attending law school, Chris was the President of the Legal Education Outreach Program, an initiative dedicated to educating high school students on various legal topics and garnering an interest in legal education. He gained litigation experience as a Clinic Coordinator of the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, a non-profit which provides free legal advice and representation to individuals who would otherwise be unable to afford legal assistance. He was also a member of the Allard School of Law’s International Justice and Human Rights Clinic, where he consulted various Members of Parliament and the Office of the Attorney General, and advocated for legislative reform in Canadian whistleblower protection laws.
Chris is fluent in English and in Korean.
