Alexander Stewart is a Senior Associate in the International Arbitration team in London. He specialises in commercial disputes with experience in both litigation and arbitration, and in a variety of sectors (including energy, construction, technology and pharmaceuticals).
Alex joined Clyde & Co in 2016 and is a member of the International Arbitration team. During his time at the firm, Alex has worked on a wide range of commercial disputes. He has experience of litigation and arbitration (both ad hoc and institutional, and governed by the LCIA, UNCITRAL and ICC rules).
He has acted for states, state-owned enterprises and corporations. He has represented clients in a wide variety of sectors, including aviation, energy, construction, real estate, pharmaceuticals and technology. He has particular expertise in the energy sector.
Alongside his commercial disputes experience, Alexander has dealt with multiple regulators and public authorities in respect of criminal and public law matters, and has conducted internal investigations.
