Lindsay Orr is a Legal Director and High Court Advocate in our Safety Health Environment and Regulatory team with broad repertoire in national defence of corporate and individual clients subject to regulatory investigation and prosecution.
Lindsay advises in respect of all health and safety incidents including joint Police/HSE corporate manslaughter investigations, workplace fatalities and individual liability allegations such as gross negligence manslaughter and breaches of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. In addition, she also specialises in road traffic cases and is regularly involved in fatal road traffic cases at both the investigation and Court stage. Experience covers representation of Fleet/Haulage before the traffic commissioner. Lindsay's background as a Partner in National crime practice with experience in advocacy on Jury trials as a High Court Advocate and Board Advisory bring ability and insight to represent clients investigated and/or prosecuted in a wide range of matters. Lindsay is a protagonist on D&I and supports both internally and externally. Areas of Expertise include:
