Gabriela graduated with honors from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, obtaining her license to practice as a lawyer in 2016. She has a diploma in international arbitration from the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and recently, she obtained a Diploma from the Arbitration Center in Mexico (CAM – Centro de Arbitraje de México) to practice as arbitrator.
With more than 7 years of experience, she specializes her practice in commercial complex litigation and international arbitration, providing legal advice to maritime, infrastructure and oil & gas industries, as well as insurance and financial sectors. She also has a great experience in complex bankruptcy proceedings.
She has acted as counsel in arbitration procedures under the rules of the ICC, ICSID, CAM and CANACO, as well as in ad-hoc arbitrations. She has been invited to participate as co-arbitrator and administrative secretariat in CAM procedures.
