Before moving to the UAE in February 2021, Emily practised in leading insurance teams in Brisbane, Australia and was the associate to a judge of the Queensland Court of Appeal.  Emily has wide experience advising insurers on indemnity, exposure and strategy.  She also has experience in commercial litigation and regulatory investigations, having represented insureds in three Royal Commissions of Inquiry.

Emily now advises litigants before the UAE courts and other GCC countries and routinely provides coverage and strategy advice to insurers and reinsurers in the region.
