Rebecca is a Legal Director in the Manchester office who qualified in 2007 and joined the firm at the point of the merger with BLM in July 2022.
Since qualification Rebecca’s practice has covered a range of disciplines, with a particular focus on defending professionals involved in regulatory and disciplinary proceedings , as well as internal NHS Trust/ NHS England disciplinary proceedings.
Her regulatory cases bring her before the General Medical Council (GMC), General Dental Council (GDC), Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), General Optical Council (GOC) and Health and Care Professions Council, (HCPC) as well as NHS England and NHS Hospital Trusts.
In addition, Rebecca defends medical professionals appearing at inquests and public inquiries and students facing university fitness to practise proceedings.
