完整简历
Tommie Anne joined the Clyde & Co team in 2019, after having practised litigation for almost five years at a Montréal firm dedicated to municipal and insurance law. Her practice is focused on the defence of various professionals, insurers and professional orders. She drives complex matters and arbitration instances in the fields of insurance and construction. Moreover, she possesses fiscal and accounting knowledge which makes her a great asset.
A versatile and seasoned lawyer, she had the opportunity time and time again to plead before most of Québec’s jurisdictional authorities, from the administrative tribunals to the Québec Court of Appeal, in the context of both civil and penal cases. As an assertive litigator, Tommie Anne never hesitates to use all the available options to defend her clients’ interests. Her rigour and sense of initiative allow her to provide her clients with comprehensive and pragmatic strategies for the effective management of their files. In addition, she gives numerous conferences on professional liability, construction, best practices and the management of complex matters, externally as well as internally.
Tommie Anne completed her bachelor’s degree in law at Québec’s University in Montréal (UQAM) in 2013, while working in Clyde & Co’s administrative support department. Today, she is actively involved in the training and development of lawyers who are starting their career. Furthermore, she is the founder of the “Tommie Anne Côté” scholarship at UQAM, which aims to reward working law students.
An avid sportswoman, endurance runner and Pilates enthusiast, she applies the same determination, strength and perseverance to her work as a lawyer. Outside of the office, Tommie Anne trains on mountain trails for her next ultramarathon.
