Jack has a wealth of experience in international dispute resolution, covering the full oil & gas value chain in addition to marine construction, shipping, commodity trading and general commercial litigation. He acts for major oil & gas companies, owners and charterers of rigs, FPSOs, other specialist and generalist vessels, as well as traders of hydrocarbons, products, chemicals, and a variety of agricultural and other commodities.
Jack has strong experience acting in international arbitrations before a variety of institutions and rules, including LMAA, LCIA, ICC, UNCITRAL, FOSFA and GAFTA arbitrations. He regularly conducts disputes in the High Court/Commercial Court/Appellate Courts of England & Wales.
In addition to his disputes work, Jack often advises clients on day-to-day legal issues including counterparty management, technical and operational issues, crisis management and contract analysis and (re)negotiation.
