A wealth of advocacy experience
Through our in-house advocacy service, we provide clients with an obtainable and economic one-stop-shop, from commencement to conclusion of a matter.
Our international advocacy team represents clients in the full range of settings including arbitration, litigation, adjudication and mediation. With complex and often high-value disputes, we recognise that our role as lawyers is to add value to our clients’ businesses beyond the provision of specialist technical advice and actively engage them in our commercially minded and solution driven approach.
We have a large number of skilled advocates globally, enabling us to represent clients in civil court hearings before all international courts.
Through our global network we are well positioned to provide comprehensive advocacy services, including advising on and all preparatory work before all courts and tribunals, if that is appropriate, either from the outset or stepping in in particularly complex or urgent cases. Our seamless service can result in substantially lower fees overall.
In many countries there is no distinction between advocates and lawyers generally. In some jurisdictions, however, advocacy has traditionally been outsourced to independent counsel. This means there are cases where it is entirely appropriate to utilise independent counsel for particular hearings and we will do so where it is necessary and where it is in the best interests of our clients. In these cases we can still manage costs by conducting appropriate parts of the advocacy ourselves.
