Our shipbuilding & offshore team has extensive experience in providing legal advice to buyers and shipyards on large scale projects including negotiating, drafting, amending, renegotiating and restructuring contracts. We advise on all types of vessels including FPSOs and drill ships. The ability to act for both builders and owners in the shipbuilding cycle gives us an insight into both sides of any matter.
We can assist in both advisory and contentious matters, whether dealing with new build, conversion, shipbreaking or ship recycling. In contentious matters, we can advise on all aspects of a dispute on the basis of our lawyers’ experience and understanding of the technical issues that may arise.
