Clyde & Co boosts energy regulatory offering with hire of Marianne Anton

London, 19 December 2024 – Global law firm Clyde & Co today announces the appointment of Marianne Anton as an energy regulatory partner in London, as part of the firm’s increased investment in its energy transition services for clients. Marianne will be part of the firm’s energy, projects and construction and corporate offering.

Marianne joins on 2nd January from Watson Farley & Williams where she was an energy regulatory and commercial specialist advising on a wide range of matters. These include, project finance and corporate support, dispute resolution, negotiation of power purchase agreements, renewables subsidies, electricity and gas licensing and electricity licence exemptions.

Marianne, a former legal advisor at Ofgem (the UK’s gas and electricity markets regulator), has experience advising on electricity market reform, having worked on the creation of the Single Electricity Market in Ireland and Northern Ireland and on Mexico’s electricity market reform.
