Elisabeth is an associate in the International Arbitration and Commercial Litigation Group working in our London office. She joined Clyde & Co in 2022 having previously trained and worked at another international law firm, based in London.

She has experience of a diverse range of commercial disputes. She has represented clients across a multitude of different sectors and has worked on claims at all levels of the English Courts, from the County Court to the Supreme Court. 

Her particular expertise is in high value complex financial services and company law litigation in the High Court. She also has experience dealing with multi-jurisdictional disputes. 

Elisabeth is fluent in German and has studied German law.

  • Pursuing high value claims in the London Commercial Court against international financial services institutions concerning interest rate derivatives.
  • Representing a large international energy supplier in various downstream general contractual and commercial disputes. 
  • Acted for a private individual in a breach of confidence claim brought by a multinational natural resources company in the London Business List. 
  • Represented a large German financial services institution in an unfair prejudice petition/breach of warranty claim. 
  • Pursued an international financial institution for negligent breach of duty of care under the Quincecare principle in the London Commercial Court on behalf of joint liquidators. 
  • Acted for a leading commodities broker in its successful appeal to the Supreme Court challenging the application of the rule against recovery of reflective loss.
