Emily Vanderlaan focuses her practice in the areas of insurance and litigation. She has experience defending insured and self-insured clients in the areas of product liability, premises liability, and personal injury matters. Emily has handled matters in both state and federal courts around the country.
Emily is experienced in guiding clients through all stages of litigation, including pre-suit evaluations, all phases of written discovery and depositions, drafting motions, arguing motions in court, and preparing for trial. She also practices alternative dispute resolution, including mediation, where she prides herself on obtaining creative and advantageous resolutions for her clients.
