Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Jeremia was a legal counsel of the Tanzania Revenue Authority handling litigation and prosecution of tax cases against domestic and multinational companies.

Jeremia has also worked as a legal manager for Helios Towers Tanzania, an experience which gave him valuable insight into telecommunication transactions, corporate regulatory and compliance issues, civil litigation and general commercial matters.

He is a duly registered advocate and a member to both the Tanganyika Law Society and the East African Law Society.

• Advising and representing international and domestic companies in tax disputes against the Tanzania Revenue Authority.
• Providing regular advice on tax, commercial and litigation issues to various companies.
• Advising and acting for Zanzibar Telecom (a subsidiary company of Etisalat) in a case at the Fair Competition Tribunal and the High Court of Tanzania.
• Providing regular legal advice on employment matters to various companies and participating in disciplinary hearing sessions.
• Advising and representing several companies in enforcement of arbitral awards and foreign judgements in Tanzania.
• Acting for Bavaria N.V in contentious matters in the High Court and the Court of Appeal of Tanzania.
• Acting for a multinational airline company in contentious proceedings instituted in Tanzania.
• Acting for Ethiopian Airlines in various contentious commercial, employment and tax matters.
• Advising and acting for several multinational companies in land, investment and contentious proceedings in Tanzania.
• Acting for and advising various banks in contentious claims, debt collection and securities in Tanzania.
• Advising a multinational oil and gas company on the issue and transaction of corporate bonds and notes in the Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange.
• Advising on complex telecommunication transactions, regulatory requirements and general corporate matters.
