Stephanie Sauve has extensive experience advising insurers on coverage issues and representing insurers in coverage litigation under primary, umbrella, and excess liability policies.
Stephanie has handled complex, high-profile insurance coverage matters including those involving sexual abuse, employment liability, environmental disasters, wrongful conviction, product liability, and construction defects. Stephanie also has experience addressing “Coverage B” matters, including coverage for intellectual property violations and alleged violations of privacy statutes.
Most recently, Stephanie worked in-house at an insurance company where she advised senior management and internal claim professionals on coverage issues impacting various lines of business and assisted with developing claim investigation, evaluation, and resolution strategies. She also managed outside coverage counsel and oversaw insurance coverage litigation.
Stephanie has worked for insurance coverage law firms in Chicago, Illinois, and she served as a law clerk for Judge Richard Siebel (Ret.) in the Circuit Court of Cook County and Magistrate Michael Mason (Ret.) and the late District Judge John Darrah in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
