Rosemary Scott is an associate based in our London office. She has particular experience with commercial and high-net-worth claims involving arson, staged theft, and the use of fraudulent devices. 

She also has experience with commercial claims involving misrepresentation and non-disclosure of material fact. 

Rosemary’s key experience involves the successful defence of a claim in the Court of Appeal (CA) by a high-net-worth insured. The claim involved the non-disclosure of material facts, misrepresentation, and the application of the Insurance Conduct of Business Sourcebook (ICOBS).

Another notable case involved a successful claim against an insured. The claim recovered payments made under an insurance policy where losses were found to be exaggerated. 

Rosemary also has experience with jewellery theft claims, malicious damage claims, and escape of water incidents.
