RJ joined Clyde & Co as an associate in 2023, after completing his articles with the firm.
Maintaining a litigation practice with a focus on insurance defence, professional and product liability, and construction and commercial disputes, he provides legal counsel to contractors, architects, engineers, business owners and property owners on a wide range of issues.
RJ obtained his Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in mathematics and chemistry from the University of British Columbia in 2016, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2022. During law school, he worked as a research assistant at the Canadian Institute of Resources Law and participated in an e-litigation moot. In addition, RJ was an editor of the Alberta Law Review, a member of the University Student Appeals Committee and a volunteer with the Pro Bono Students Canada Civil Claims Duty Counsel.
He is fluent in Punjabi and Hindi and has some elementary knowledge of French and Spanish. Outside of work, RJ enjoys classic films and discovering new cuisines.
