Louise Quincey is a partner in our Manchester office and specialises in claims to do with various occupational disease matters. This includes bullying and harassment, alleged overwork, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and stress arising from disciplinary or grievance procedures. With respect to PTSD, Louise has a particular specialisation in assaults in the workplace.
Louise works closely with corporate clients and insurers/policyholders to conduct investigations. She’s often involved before receiving a formal civil claim, such as during grievance (complaint) procedures or during claims in the Employment Tribunal.
Alongside this work, Louise specialises in occupational cancers focusing on asbestos-related injuries, specifically mesothelioma. She has often acted for clients in claims for more uncommon types of occupational diseases. These include skin cancer, kidney cancer, nasal cancers and others.
