Helen has been an Associate in the London Employment team since September 2020, having trained at the firm. As part of her training, Helen spent six months on secondment with the firm’s Employment team in Dubai, gaining exposure to employment law issues across the Middle East and Africa region.
After qualifying, she spent seven months on secondment at a multinational information and analytics company, working closely with in-house Employment Counsel and HR teams across five business units.
Helen has a good understanding of the practical and commercial implications of people issues for companies, strengthened by her time working in-house on secondment. She has experience advising on a range of contentious and non-contentious workplace matters including: recruitment; contracts; policies and procedures; investigations; data protection; employee relations including trade union matters; corporate deals; TUPE transfers; reorganisations; terminations; settlements; and handling Employment Tribunal and High Court disputes.

Advising on corporate deals and TUPE transfers.
Preparing and advising on employment contracts and HR policy documentation.
Advising on responses to data subject access requests, including advising on the procedure and coordinating the review.
Advising on workplace issues arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic.
