Having joined a national Insurance law firm upon qualification, Graeme has acquired extensive experience in defending a wide range of employers’ liability, occupiers' liability, public liability, product liability, motor, multi-party actions (food poisoning) and disease claims, particularly Hand-Arm Vibration and Noise Induced Hearing Loss claims for major insurers.
Following a career in the NHS, Graeme trained in a respected regional claimant personal injury firm and qualified as a Solicitor in 1998.
Over the years, Graeme has acted for most major Insurers. He has also acted on instructions from major retailers such as Tesco Stores and Homebase/Argos in defending a range of employers’ liability, product liability and public liability claims. Additionally he has acted on instructions from the Treasury Solicitor and G4S in defending a range of employers’ liability and public liability claims arising from a prison environment.
Graeme formerly specialised in the defence of employers’ liability, public liability and motor claims on behalf of a number of local authorities and is expert in the law relating to the highways and public land.
Graeme regularly attends insurer client case surgeries and frequently provides training to clients on all aspects of personal injury litigation.

Successful defence of a suspected fraudulent high value slipping claim brought by a former employee against a major construction company.
Graeme has also secured the discontinuance/favourable settlement of a large number of industrial disease claims on the basis of his detailed Part 18 Requests to Claimants and Part 35 questions to experts.
