Brett Safford concentrates his practice on commercial litigation matters and represents insurers in a variety of insurance coverage issues. He also has extensive experience defending professionals in cases involving errors and omissions by financial advisors, directors and officers, lawyers and insurance agents. Brett regularly handles matters before both state and federal trial courts. His experience also includes appeals before the California Courts of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, in addition to arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority.
Brett previously focused his practice on business and securities litigation and professional liability matters. He also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Craig D. Karlan, Honorable Stuart Rice and Honorable Ramona See of the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
While in law school, Brett served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Carl J. West of the Los Angeles County Superior Court and volunteered at the Cancer Legal Resource Center.
