Becky is an Associate (FCILEx) in our Insurance, Financial & Professional Disputes team.

Becky's legal career has always involved acting for insurers and their insureds under a broad range of policy types including professional indemnity, directors and officers, employers liability, and medical malpractice.  Her in-house experience at a national insurance company has also informed her handling of claims on behalf of insurers.

Becky now works in both a claims handling and panel appointed capacity specialising in the defence of
pre-litigated and litigated professional negligence claims.  She also advises on coverage issues.

Expérience

• Ongoing claims handling on behalf of insurers with a delegated authority in relation to solicitors' Professional Indemnity notifications
• Project Management on behalf of Insurers and Coverage Advice in relation to books of block notified claims in respect of two insolvent law firms
• Defence of dual proceedings in respect of an alleged multi-million pound claim against solicitors pursued under the Third Parties (Rights Against Insurers) Act 2010
