Rodrigo Ramírez is a Senior Consultant in our Santiago office since 2020, with extensive experience in maritime law, maritime and port regulations and international trade.
Rodrigo is a Senior Consultant in our Santiago office since 2020, previously he worked at the Legal Division of the Chilean Maritime Authority, which he lead from 2011 to 2018.
He has a master degree in Maritime Law granted by the University of Southampton, UK.
Rodrigo has been designated as an arbitrator in more than 200 maritime disputes from 2001 to date, being one of the main maritime arbitrators in Chile.
He has drafted legal reports in support of maritime litigation from 2005 to date.
Rodrigo currently serves as an international consultant of the International Maritime Organization and is the current president of the Chilean Maritime Law Association.
In the academic field, he teaches Private and Maritime Law at Catholic University of Valparaiso, the Andres Bello University and the War Naval Academy of the Chilean Navy.
