Joanna assists corporate and insurer clients manage domestic and international cyber incidents and data breaches. She has advised on numerous cyber incidents, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, on relevant regulatory notifications, subsequent investigations and litigation that follows.

Before becoming a cyber specialist, Joanna had a broad commercial litigation practice, advising on a range of commercial disputes often including allegations of fraud.

• Cyber: advising a US based printing company in relation a cyber attack that impacted its European operations.
• Cyber: acting for an insured retail software plc following a cyber incident including work on the incident response strategy and subsequent litigation instigated by customers.
• Cyber: advising a large regulated company in the property sector following a security breach including assisting with the client’s customers, communications and PR and the on various regulatory investigations.
• Cyber: advising a high-profile food manufacturing company in relation to a cyber incident and the subsequent regulatory implications.
• Cyber: advising a logistics business on a security incident at the outset of the pandemic which impacted operations and navigating them through recovery and a regulatory investigation.
