She is experienced in dealing with all aspects of regulatory investigations and prosecutions instigated by a wide range of regulatory bodies including but not limited to; the Police, Health and Safety Executive, Local Authorities, Office of Rail Regulation, Office for Nuclear Regulation, Crown Premises Fire Safety Inspectorate and the Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales. 

As a Legal Director in Clyde & Co’s nationally recognised Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) Regulatory team, Natalie's areas of expertise include:

  •  Advising in the Manchester Arena Inquiry following the Manchester Arena bombing which killed 22 people, including many children.
  • Advising an individual in the HSE investigation of Merlin Entertainments following the incident on the Smiler roller coaster at Alton Towers. No action was taken against her client. 
  • Advising in the police investigation and providing representation at the inquest to a member of staff at a Manchester city centre restaurant following the death of a student caused by an allergic reaction after a meal. No action was taken against her client.
  • Advising in the police investigation and providing representation at inquest to a lift engineer following an incident at a care home in which the lift he had worked on earlier that day failed, causing fatal injuries to a resident at the care home. No action was taken against her client. 
  • Advising an SME in the joint police and HSE investigation and subsequent prosecution for corporate manslaughter after an employee was fatally injured in an automated robot machine. 
  • Advising a large food manufacturer in a prosecution involving a salmonella outbreak alleged to have caused harm to hundreds of members of the public. 
  • Advising a registered manager of a residential home for boys who was prosecuted for health and safety offences after one of the boys committed suicide. Her client was acquitted. 
  • Advising a local authority in a complex Article 2 inquest following the death of a school boy following an asthma attack. 
  • Representing two custody assistants in a complex Article 2 inquest following the death of a detainee in the custody suite. 
  • Being the trusted advisor to a large national Construction Company on all SHE matters.
