Thy is a Legal Director and dual-qualified lawyer (New York and England and Wales) and regularly advises and acts for [re]insurers across Asia Pacific, including Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, the Philippines, Brunei and Singapore. Thy advises clients on complex policy coverage issues and quantum and acts for clients in negotiations, mediation, arbitration and commercial litigation.

Thy also advises insurers and reinsurers on subrogated recoveries and has deep experience managing and conducting substantial litigation / arbitration on behalf of [re]insurers in a number of jurisdictions across Asia Pacific, including Malaysia, Bangladesh, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Thy has been practising in Singapore for over ten years.
