Reece Martin is an Associate in the Johannesburg office and is primarily focused on cyber breach incident response and cyber insurance related matters. Reece also regularly provides advice on the application of South Africa’s data protection regime on foreign and local businesses.

He has advised clients on the establishment of data protection compliance programmes, drafting of policies, gap analysis reports and has conducted data protection and cyber incident awareness sessions and Information Officer training.

Since Clyde & Co in 2020, he has also been exposed to matters pertaining to insurance coverage disputes as well as insurance and commercial related litigation.
