Neo is part of the Coverage, Speciality and Reinsurance Team and assists across various insurance lines including professional negligence, commercial crime and general commercial and corporate litigation. 

She has experience in providing coverage and defence advise to insurers with a particular emphasis on complex claims and acts for directors, companies and professionals.

Neo's experience in the commercial and insurance space includes directors and officers' liability, professional indemnity, medical malpractice and experience dealing with regulatory bodies such as the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

She is a member of the South African cyber team, which forms part of Clyde & Co’s global Cyber One offering and has experience in dealing with cyber security incidents and data protection issues by providing both incident response and coverage advice.

  • Providing policy coverage and legal liability advice to underwriting managers and insurers on a number of complex fraud and fidelity guarantee matters.
  • Experience in eDiscovery and assisting in large investigations, document and general data reviews.
  • Experience in drafting insurance policy wordings for South African insurers.
  • Instituting subrogated recoveries against third parties.
