Abubakar has advised on a number of corporate transactions, working with clients operating in the education, energy, hospitality, infrastructure, and technology sectors.
Abubakar is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) in 2017, and a Master of Laws degree (LLM) and Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2018, from BPP University, UK.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Abubakar worked in the corporate/commercial department of a reputable local law firm in Doha for over four years; where for a period of five months was seconded to an established Qatari holding company focusing on international business.
Abubakar is a native English speaker and has strong command in the Arabic language.
