Shan is a Legal Director in the London office with experience in insurance and reinsurance matters acting on behalf of insurers in the Lloyd's market and in Bermuda, with a particular focus on international arbitrations.
Shan has worked on a number of international arbitration insurance claims involving complex insurance coverage issues. She advises and acts for clients in cases involving natural disasters, catastrophe claims, product liability claims including auto products and pharmaceutical products, excess liability claims, and financial crime and professional indemnity claims.
She was involved in the legal research for Second Edition of "The Bermuda Form: Interpretation and Dispute Resolution of Excess Liability Insurance" written by David Scorey QC, Richard Geddes, and Chris Harris.
Shan is also involved in the firm’s D&I initiatives.
