Marcin participates in banking and finance transactions (including project finance transactions with a particular focus on renewable energy sources (RES)) and transactions involving company acquisitions, debt refinancing, consensual restructurings, and corporate financing (both on the financial institutions and borrowers’ side).

He has experience in providing legal advice on cross-border transactions, real estate finance, banking & finance legal due diligence and negotiating security documents. He also advises on sustainable and green finance. In addition, he is  interested in law relating to new technologies with a particular focus on blockchain technology.

Prior to joining Clyde & Co Marcin worked at a leading Polish law firm in their banking & finance and ESG teams, and an international law firm focusing on the implementation of PSD2 and MiFID2 regulations in banks, as well as financing and refinancing transactions in projects concerning real estate financing and project finance. Marcin also worked at an investment fund specialising in digital transformation processes. 

Marcin graduated from the Faculty of Law and Business Management at Kozminski University in Warsaw, and also studied at the Faculty of Law of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He is currently participating in a legal doctoral seminar in banking law, and LLM studies in international commercial law at Kozminski University in Warsaw. He is also pursuing postgraduate studies in law and banking and finance for lawyers at the Warsaw School of Economics.

  • Advising a joint venture of international RES sponsors on a financing for the construction and development of a PV farm located in Poland granted by a Polish bank. 
  • Advising a consortium of Polish banks and financial institutions on general corporate financing of a leading Polish contractor of infrastructure for RES. 
  • Advising Polish banks and borrowers in financing a number of warehouses and housing developments.
  • Advising in many cross-border transactions with the participation of international financial institutions.
