A consultant in our Vancouver office, Bill Knutson, K.C., is a highly regarded civil litigator who has conducted many trials and
appeals at all levels of British Columbia courts.
Bill has acted as counsel in a wide range of civil disputes both at the trial and appellate levels. For the most part, these cases have involved complex commercial, construction and insurance related issues.
Bill has also represented clients in many administrative proceedings before professional bodies including the Law Society of British Columbia and the governing bodies of architects, engineers and physicians. In addition, he represents parties before securities and environmental tribunals.
Bill has authored various articles for university law journals, continuing legal education publications and trade journals on topics ranging from civil procedure to corporate liability issues. He is also a frequent lecturer. Bill was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2004 (now King’s Counsel) and is often engaged as a neutral, acting as either a mediator or arbitrator in a variety of commercial disputes.
