Bronwyn is a Claims Manager in the firm’s Insurance Financial Professional Disputes team. She specialises in defending professionals at all stages of litigation and has extensive experience in resolving claims at the pre-action stage. She also provides advice to insurers on a full range of policy issues.
Bronwyn is a Claims Manager in the Insurance Financial Professional Disputes team in the firm’s Manchester office. Bronwyn joined Clyde & Co in March 2014, where she deals with a wide spectrum of insurance-based claims involving a range of professionals. Her experience also extends to advising on insurance policy coverage issues.
Bronwyn relocated to the UK over 10 years ago, having previously worked at a leading South African litigation practice in Durban, where she gained considerable experience in all aspects of commercial and insurance dispute resolution, as well as trial advocacy.
Bronwyn currently manages a variety of claims, which include defending claims against solicitors, IT and media professionals, as well as professionals from emerging/other professions.

Defending claims against conveyancing professionals in relation to lease extensions and negotiations, ground rent clauses, conflicts of duty and reports on title.
Successful defence of a negligence claim against a firm of solicitors due to a limitation argument based on the Claimant’s failure to extend the Standstill Agreement during pre-action negotiations
Defending breach of contract and/or negligence claims against IT consultants, technology companies, marketing companies and other emerging professions.
Successful defence of an intellectual property infringement claim against a marketing company.
Investigating and advising insurers in relation to coverage concerns arising out of professional indemnity policy wording.
