Marc Harries is a Senior Associate in the Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss department and is based in our Manchester office.

Marc acts for a wide range of insurer clients in the defence of catastrophic injury claims. He receives regular direct instructions to act for one of the Firms core insurer clients, often in cases of high value and upmost complexity.

Marc is experienced in defending claims covering the entire spectrum of catastrophic injury to include brain injury, spinal injury, amputation and chronic pain.  

Expérience
  • Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss – Securing the dismissal of a public liability claim in the County Court at Preston which arose from a fall from a hotel window. Once quantified the claim was likely to have been pleaded in excess of £1million.
  • Catastrophic Injury & Large Loss – Securing the dismissal of a claim in the County Court at Sheffield for serious injury arising from a pedestrian v vehicle incident. The claim was pleaded in excess of £250,000.
