Simon Gamblin is a partner in the firm's corporate and commercial team. He has extensive international and domestic corporate finance expertise, including substantial experience advising on complex public and private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures (typically with a cross-border element), restructurings, financings (including early-stage), private equity and general corporate/commercial transactions, as well as corporate governance issues.

His practice spans many sectors, including energy/oil and gas, education, financial services, professional practices, life sciences, technology, media and telecoms.

Expérience

• Advising in respect of largest UK law firm merger;
• Advising on establishment of new banking and broking business in the UAE;
• Advising on funding rounds and next stage development of life science companies;
• Advised on UK aspects of recent acquisition of Integrity Music by David C Cook;
• Advised major international conglomerate on reorganisation of its UK group of companies; and
• Advised state oil and gas company in respect of major upstream gas and LNG project.
