Ross is a senior associate and solicitor advocate in the firm’s Large Loss and Catastrophic Injuries Team in Edinburgh. He joined the firm in April 2020. Ross acts on behalf of the country’s largest insurers and self-insured companies. He specialises in defending personal injuries actions arising out of accidents in the workplace, road traffic accidents and public liability claims.

Ross has extensive experience of representing clients in the Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland. He has secured notable, reported judgments in his clients’ favour. Ross was recently admitted as a solicitor advocate with extended rights of audience in the Court of Session and the UK Supreme Court.

Expérience

• Successfully defended a claim in the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court by an employee who sustained a hand injury in the course of transporting a trolley heavily laden with bar stock.
• Successfully defended a claim in the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court by a social worker who sought reparation in respect of injuries that she sustained when she slipped on ice in a car park.
• Successfully defended a claim in Glasgow Sheriff Court by an employee who was assaulted in the course of relocating and restraining a prisoner.
