Olivia is a partner in the Dispute Resolution group and is based in the Dubai office. She specialises in contentious insurance matters in the professional indemnity, financial institutions, directors and officers, and cyber business lines.
Her core practice includes:
advising on the resolution of disputes (litigation, arbitration and investigations) involving professional services firms, financial institutions and directors and officers;
acting as breach response counsel in the event of a cyber breach;
providing policy coverage advice to insurers under a broad range of insurance policies; and
advising on policy wordings.
Olivia relocated to Dubai in 2019 prior to which she gained extensive experience in London, advising London market and international insurers and their insureds on contentious insurance matters. During her time in London, she also completed two client secondments to the claims teams of a London market reinsurer and a managing general agent.

Advising clients on crisis management following a cyber event and/or data breach, including acting as breach response counsel, project management, advising on regulatory notifications and defending any third party claims arising out of a cyber event / data breach.
Advising on insurance and reinsurance policy coverage matters across a wide range of business lines, including professional indemnity, financial institutions, directors and officers, investment management, commercial crime, cyber, Banker’s Blanket Bond, engineering and construction and W&I.
Carrying out policy wording reviews including in respect of emerging risks such as ESG.
