Paul has experience in acting for a wide range of clients including private developers and investors, public and private funds, corporate occupiers, and local and central government public bodies, in relation to all aspects of their real estate portfolios.  His expertise includes investment transactions, development projects, and landlord and tenant matters.  Paul has significant experience in working across a number of sectors including private residential developments, mixed use projects, alternative residential sites (including student accommodation and healthcare), and commercial.

Expérience

Development:

• Acting for a large property company on its £500m mixed use redevelopment scheme just north of Oxford Street, London, including high class residential components.
• Acting for a private investor on its acquisition and proposed development of a £400m office-led development in the City of London.
• Acting on a number of acquisitions and developments (including forward funding) of purpose built student accommodation (PBSA) schemes for a range of clients.

Investment:

• Acting on the acquisition of the multi-use £1.7bn More London Estate in Central London.
• Acting on the sale of an office-led mixed use development in the City of London for £210m.
• Acting on a £150m forward purchase of a mixed use development in Central London, with a complicated part-freehold, part-leasehold acquisition structure.

Landlord & Tenant:

• Negotiating leases and agreements for lease (including pre-lets) for a range of clients across a variety of real estate sectors including office, logistics, industrial, retail and mixed-use schemes.

Corporate:

• Acting for a large private fund on its growth in the senior living healthcare market, including the acquisition and development of numerous sites across the UK.
• Providing real estate support on a distressed asset acquisition for a global PE fund with more than 300 properties and loan value exceeding £750m.
