Rachel is a Senior Associate in the legacy claims team in our Edinburgh office since August 2013.
She has worked in litigation for 12 years and has worked in the insurance litigation sector for the last 9 years. She specialises in disease claims resolution.
Rachel acts for the majority of legacy insurers and reinsurers in the UK. She has a vast knowledge of the law and the practicalities involved in this area.
The majority of her work relates to defending high value fatal disease claims. She also handles PL and Occupier Liability claims.

Stuart Lambert v Proserve UK Ltd [2019] SC EDIN 72– successful defence in the first HAVS claim to come before Court in Scotland in over 10 years. This was also the first disease case in the All-Scotland Personal Injury Court.
