Claire is a Lead Catastrophic Injury Partner in the highly regarded Tier 1 Legal 500 London team. She has been named as a “Leading Individual” for several years in the Legal 500 and is a recognised Partner in Chambers and Partners. Her testimonials describe her as a “tough and determined litigator who brooks no nonsense en-route to getting a just outcome for her client” and she is known for “engaging on a collaborative level and is clearly very good at what she does.”
Claire has over 25 years’ experience of dealing with a wide range of complex personal injury claims acting for several large insurers on road traffic accidents, employers liability and public liability claims. She deals with claims of utmost severity including spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, amputations, complex poly-trauma, fatalities and chronic pain.
Claire has a strong technical background and is a member and contributor of FOIL; Clyde’s National Catastrophic Brain Injury Group and is also a member of a specialist brain injury group for a leading insurer.
Claire has nurtured and leads a strong team of lawyers and is noted in the Legal 500 as having “mastered the balancing act of supervising her team whilst retaining an in-depth knowledge of her files. She provides excellent balanced advice”.
Claire also mentors individual insurer client’s guiding them throughout their professional, technical and personal development.
