She obtained an LLB (cum laude) from the University of Pretoria in 2005 and a LLM in Insurance Law (cum laude) from the University of South Africa in 2010.

defending an insurance company facing a large fire claim, resulting in the claim being withdrawn;
advising a large cosmetics house on product recall matters and contractual disputes;
giving regulatory and compliance advice to various brokers, underwriting managers and insurers, specifically on the binder regulations; and
assisting in representing a dentist in a Health Professions Council complaint, which was withdrawn.
