Sarah advises landlord, tenant, developer and insolvency practitioner clients on a wide range of property related disputes.  

Her experience includes advising on asset management issues - rent arrears, service charge disputes, break options, rent review, forfeiture and dilapidations – telecoms matters under the Electronic Communications Code, business lease renewals under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954, property related insolvency issues and complex rights to light matters.  

She also advises on overage, Funding and Development Agreements and SPAs.

  • advising on the planning and implementation of a client's vacant possession strategy in advance of a large scale development - including service of break notices, notices under the Electronic Communications Code and notices under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954
  • advising and acting for a national retailer on all aspects of the lease renewal process across its portfolio
  • providing rights to light advice in a number of major central London development projects, as well as advice upon other neighbourly matters, including rights of way and covenant issues
  • advising a number of local authorities upon issues arising in their real estate portfolios
