Profil complet

Lee is a London-based arbitration and dispute resolution Partner with a particular focus on the Energy and Natural Resources sectors and also with significant insurance and reinsurance experience. Lee is also co-founder of Clyde Code, our Smart Contracts offering.

His experience is focused on industrial and engineering sectors; but also encompasses broad commercial litigation and insurance/reinsurance matters.

Most of his work has an international dimension and as well as advising on jurisdiction issues he has experience of dealing with disputes and claims around the world, including in Latin America and Africa.

Lee has been involved in considering the impact of smart contracts, blockchain and related technologies since 2015, and has written a series of papers which cover the extensive possibilities of these technologies within the existing legal and regulatory framework. He is now recognised as a leader in this area and is regularly invited to speak at insurance and other industry conferences, and to contribute towards initiatives and other papers. Lee is currently instructed by clients seeking to utilise these emerging technologies on a number of projects to include payment-rail systems, parametric insurance and digital marketing initiatives. He is dedicated to finding innovative yet pragmatic ways for the new technologies to work within existing frameworks. Lee is a co-founder of Clyde Code, our smart contracts consultancy.
