Angela is an experienced litigator with an interest in commercial disputes, construction litigation, professional negligence claims and personal injury matters. Known for her pragmatic approach to files, she has represented clients in the Provincial Court and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, as well as assisted on matters before the Alberta Court of Appeal.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Angela completed her legal education at Thompson Rivers University in 2015. As part of her work in law school, she had the opportunity to co-author a chapter on enforcement in the Research Handbook on International Courts and Tribunals issued by Edward Elgar Publishing in 2017.
Angela is recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada: Ones to Watch for her work in Corporate and Commercial Litigation and Insurance Law.
Angela is actively involved in the legal community and enjoys mentoring students and junior associates. She is currently an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association’s Insurance South Section. In her spare time, Angela loves hiking in Banff National Park.
