Adwa joined the IP, Technology & Commercial and team in March 2022 and is based in the firm's Riyadh office.
Prior to joining Clyde & Co, Adwa spent five years working in the legal department at a telecommunications and technology service provider in Saudi Arabia, where she was a member of the company's Specialist Development Program as a technology, media & telecommunications (TMT) specialist. Adwa also led the digital transformation strategy for the company’s legal department and advised on areas including commercial contracts, mergers & acquisitions, and litigation.
Adwa also has prior experience of working with another international law firm in the UK having been seconded to the TMT department of the firm's Manchester office.
Adwa is a qualified lawyer in Saudi Arabia, graduated from King Saud University and has completed certifications in data law, cyber law from London School of Economics (LSE), and obtained the capital markets certificate (CME-1).
