Clyde & Co continues expansion of energy transition offering with hire of Julie Cornély

Paris, 22 January 2025 – Global law firm Clyde & Co today announces the appointment of Julie Cornély as an energy transactions partner in Paris, as part of the firm’s investment in its energy transition offering for clients. Julie will be part of the firm’s energy, projects and construction and corporate teams.

She joins from French law firm De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés where she was a corporate partner specialising in M&A, complex group restructurings and general corporate matters. She is highly experienced in high-end transactions including acquisitions, securities or asset sales as well as joint ventures / strategic partnerships and the issuance of securities. Julie is also involved in transactions such as group restructurings, spin-offs and national / cross-border mergers.  

Her clients are mainly international, and while she has worked across a wide variety of sectors including industrial, agriculture, food / beverage, luxury, pharmaceutical and new technology, her main specialism is the renewable energy sector, focusing on windfarm, photovoltaic, biomass and hydrogen projects.  

Julie is joined by senior associate Manon Oravec, who also specialises in M&A, complex group restructurings and general corporate matters in a variety of client sectors.
